Who is Haim?

So you've heard them on Kid Cudi's Indicud, singing their hearts out on the standout track "Redeye", and you're wondering who they are huh? No? Well you should.

I've been a fan of Haim for a while now and was, frankly, quite surprised when I saw and heard their guest spot on "Redeye", a beautiful showcase of young talent where Cudi let's the all-female band really shine.  The original trio, composed of sisters Este (27), Danielle (24), and Alana(21), hail from Los Angeles and have been consumed by music from an early age.  While growing up involved in their mother and father's family band, Rockinhaim, each of the sisters started to be immersed in a rich musical background.  Mixing an R&B, folksy sound with traditional instrumentation, Haim brings a new-age feel to indie rock. Having briefly toured with both Florence and the Machine, and Mumford & Sons, the group recently performed at SXSW with their new male drummer Dash Hutton.  For more on this great band check out their recent feature in USA Today, but for now just listen:
